My behavior, their behavior

I talked about European and American people’s behavior in Japan with someone the other day. Honestly, I thought it was horrible when I was in Japan. They always gathered just by themselves who can speak English well. It seemed they didn’t want to have communication with us, Japanese. Of course, it was right in a way. But I reconsidered it these days. Because it was possible there were some foreigners who can’t talk to Japanese people, even though they really wanted to converse with us. Almost all of them don’t speak Japanese well. That’s the sufficient reason for them to behave like that.

As for me, I haven’t made a lot of non-Japanese friends here yet. That means I have behaved like them, foreigners in Japan!! Honestly, I thought foreigners as I wrote above are stupid. But if I apply my logic to me, I am apparently stupid as well. I’m not such shy, but I think my English is NOT good enough to have communication with them. Maybe I should be much more positive and optimistic for the matter. But what should I do exactly now?
