Public school
I had an English lesson today as I always have it on Friday. Of course, we usually do English lessons, but Jim and I sometimes discuss about something. Today’s topic was Public school. I knew little bit about it, but I was really surprised that only 6% of children commute there and about 50% of students of Oxbridge are from public school. What about other 94% children? It costs fortune to have their children to have chance to study at Public school, so not all parents can give a chance their children. (I have no idea whether Public school is really good or not.) That means there is no equal opportunity. In Japan, I think we have little bit better situation for it. But there is also “equality of results”in Japan. I think Japan is the most successful socialised country in the world. I’m worried about Japan if it will be like that in the future.
Anyway, I’d like to know a lot about this country, regardless of whether or not it is good things. I think that helps me to understand this country.
